全身PBMT

PBM(Photobiomodulation)是指特定波长区域的光源在线粒体中生成ATP过程的术语。

该术语从2016年末开始出现于美国国立保健院医学学术信息分类体系MeSH(Medical Subject Heading)中未来治疗手段的主要关键词。虽然低强度激光治疗(Low Level Laser Theapy)也被作为术语使用,但设备技术和医学标准被统一定义为PBM(Photobiomodulation)

经临床验证的PBMT

目前,有关被称为Photobiomodulation的LLLT研究论文已出版了5000多篇, 这些论文中的优秀论文被登载在美国国立保健院国立医学图书馆(NCBI)网站上。

PBMT Human Clinical Trials

PBM has been researched for more than a decade on various different diseases and had been acknowledged for its effectiveness. The list below shows some of the studies outlined. This would be a great reference point for a new clinical trial as well.

Above clinical result chart includes the analysis on the quality of such results. B indicates normal effectiveness,
C indicates weak effectiveness. Such analysis had been evidenced based on the standards used by UK Cochrane Library ( https://www.cochrane.org/ ) .
From 2014 to 2018, a lot of these systematically reviewed trials have been published.
Currently, PBM research is ever increasing at a rapid speed and there are over 400 related studies published worldwide. We project that by 2020,
there would be more than thousand related published studies available.
To conclude, PBMT is beneficial for various different diseases.

PBMT at cellular, mitochondrial level

  • Increase in oxygen
    consumption
  • Increase in the mitochondrial membrane
  • Increase in ATP
    and cAMP
  • Release of Nitric Oxide (NO)
  • Short occurrence of ROS
  • Molecular change to the calcium

Signaling through stimulating the mitochondria

  • Generation of the growth factor
  • extracellular matrix deposition
  • Increase in the cellular multiplication and activity
  • Anti-apoptosis suppression
